The newest member of the Southern Tier Empire Zones, the DSEZ encompasses a two square mile area around the City of Dunkirk's central business district as well as established and proposed industrial parks.

Sandwiched between Historic Chadwick Bay Harbor on Lake Erie and the New York State thruway, the DSEZ is easily accessed by water and land. The CSX and Norfolk Southern Freight Railways and the Dunkirk-Airport provide additional transportation and shipping venues.

The DSEZ has a number of available sites including office, retail, warehouse and industrial space, as well as land ready for development in the industrial parks.
